LATUS Pixel is an AI taste companion for iPhone. It reads any restaurant menu, translates it into your language, converts the prices into your currency, and ranks every dish by how well it matches your personal taste fingerprint, called your Pixel.
What is a taste Pixel?
Your Pixel is your taste captured as a one-of-a-kind radial fingerprint: 16 dials across flavor, texture, and dining style, from heat and sweetness to salt, umami, and funk. Add your allergies, restrictions, and the way you describe your own approach to food, and it becomes the model behind every recommendation. No two Pixels are alike, and yours sharpens each time you eat.
How do I build my Pixel?
You start from one of nine starter pixels that roughly matches how you eat, then fine-tune the dials that matter to you and tell LATUS about your approach to food in your own words. Most people finish in about a minute, and you can redefine any part of your Pixel later.
How does LATUS Pixel read a menu?
Five ways: point your camera at the menu, scan a table QR code, upload a PDF, paste a link, or paste the menu text itself. LATUS reconstructs the menu so you can verify it read everything correctly, then scores each dish against your Pixel.
Does it translate menus and convert prices?
Yes. Menus render in your language with the original preserved alongside, and prices convert into your currency, so a menu abroad reads like one from home.
How are dishes scored?
Every dish gets a match score against your Pixel, with a plain explanation of why it fits and photos of what the dish actually looks like. Your strongest matches come first, and you can tap any dish further down the list to see its story before you order.
What about allergies and dietary restrictions?
Allergies and dietary restrictions are hard constraints. Dishes that conflict with them are filtered out before scoring ever happens, and ingredients you never want to see stay off your recommendations. LATUS works from what the menu says, so for severe allergies always confirm with the restaurant.
Does LATUS Pixel learn over time?
Yes. After a meal you can react to each dish you tried, and that feedback nudges your Pixel. The more you eat with LATUS, the sharper your recommendations become.

Every restaurant you scan is saved with its menu, your matches, and your feedback, wherever in the world you ate. You can sign in with Apple, Google, or email. Your Pixel belongs to you: you can edit it at any time, and you can delete your account and its data from inside the app whenever you choose.
